Regular annual ranking of institutions according to the Active Transparency Index, that is, according to the proactive publication of public information, which includes 98 institutions, that is, the Government and all ministries and municipalities.
In 2022, average active transparency of the government, line ministries and municipalities stands at 73% (from maximum possible 100%).
In 2021, active transparency of line ministries, the government and municipalities is calculated at 63% (from maximum possible 100%) and according to the categorization of compliance rates falls within the category of “good” active transparency. In 2021, active transparency has been improved by 5 percentage points (from 58% to 63%).
In 2020, average active transparency of all 98 ranked institutions is calculated at 58.2% (from maximum possible 100%) and according to the categorization of compliance rates falls within the category of “average”. In 2020, active transparency has increased by insignificant 2.2 percentile points compared to last year when it was 56%.
The Center for Civil Communications published the ranking list of institutions under the Index of Active Transparency, which concerns proactive publication of public information for the year 2019 (March 2019) and covers all ministries, the Government and municipalities.
Active transparency index 2018 The general degree of active transparency in Macedonia in 2018 remained low. The percentage of fulfillment of the obligations for active publication of information in all 97 participating institutions was 43.5% (out of 100%).

The Center for Civil Communications announced today the results of research of active transparency of institutions. The ranking covers all 81 municipalities and the City of Skopje, 15 ministries and the Government. The percentage of fulfillment of the obligations for disclosure of public information of all 97 institutions is 45% (of 100%).
