They also helped in improving skills  for comprehensive and precise investigation. During the training  journalists accomplished knowledge and ability that will be useful for  them in their job, especially in collecting data, working with  databases, using open sources and creating personal journalistic  archives<\/p>\n<p>Finally, in the end of the training they discussed about some possible  corruption topics that can be investigated. They talked about working  conditions in the Romanian media and their experience, before the  internship in some of them. Some of the topics will become investigative  stories, and will be published in Macedonian media.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives  from the Kosovo\u2019s Organization for democracy, anticorruption and  dignity also attended the training, and took part in the discussion in  order to achieve stronger relations between investigative activities in  the region.<\/p>\n<p>Before completing the project, an informal network  of investigative journalists will be created. The network will have a  key role in promoting and development of investigative journalism in  Macedonia<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Centre for Civil Communications in collaboration with the Romanian Centre for Investigating Journalism (RCIJ) conducted the first phase of the project \u201cOvercoming corruption: Exchange of experiences and best practices in investigative journalism in Romania and Macedonia\u201d.
